K-9 Mail
K-9 Mail is an Android email client which is available to be installed from the Google Play Store and the F-Droid Free and Open Source Android App Repository.
Following are instructions explaining how to configure K-9 to work with the webarch.email server, this is very simple, there are only four fields that you have to enter your data into, Email address, Password, IMAP server and SMTP server, for the server fields use webarch.email
, the details follow.
When you have installed K-9 for the first time you will be presented with the following screen:
Press Next and then you are asked for your Email address and Password:
Enter your email address and your email password and press Next:
You will then be asked for the type of account, select IMAP and press Next:
You then have a screen with the Incoming server details, there is only one value you need to change from the default, the IMAP server field needs to contain webarch.email
as shown in the following screenshot, once you have edited that field press Next:
K-9 will then check the settings you have entered:
If the IMAP settings are correct you are then asked for the Outgoing server settings, again the only field that needs changing from the default is the SMTP server, this needs to be set to webarch.email

Next you have a screen of Account options these can be left at the default values, press Next:
Next you are asked to add an account name and your name, add these and press Next:
And then you have completed the configuration:
