Creating a Post
All the articles on the site are "Posts" (not "Pages"), to create a new one, first login and then hover over "+ New" and select "Post".
Title
Enter the "Title" of the page where it says "Enter title here".
Categories
Tick one of the "Categories" using the box on the right hand side of the screen.
Featured Image
Scroll further down the right hand boxes and click "Set featured image".
Select an image from the media library or upload a new image and then click "Set featured image" (this is important, this is the image used for the front page and for the next and previous navigation links).
Article Text
Enter the text of the article, this can be copied and pasted from a office document.
Article Excerpt
Below the article text field there is a Excerpt' field, use this for the text that appears on the front page:
Align Image
When you add an image to an article, using the "Add Media" link, you can click on the image to align it as illustrated below:
Full Width Image
Upload a large image, add it to a post and then switch from Visual editing mode to Text editing mode, see the tab highlighted with the red arrow below:
The add a style attribute to the img element, style="width: 100%":
Then switch back to visual mode and save the post.
Publish
When you have finished writing the article click the "Publish" link at the top of the right hand column.
