There are 'pros' and 'cons' with ISPConfig, and with some of the alternatives:-

1. ISPConfig

- PRO: It does lots of things, see: ISPConfig.org

- PRO: It has an app for Android, see: http://www.ispconfig.org/ispconfig-3/ispconfig-monitor-app-for-android/

- CON: It needs a lot of resources to do everything, we could try 1GB RAM to start, but it often needs a minimum of 2GB

2. Webarch Secure Hosting environment (WSH)

- PRO: It doesn't need many resources, 1GB RAM is enough

- PRO It's based on our own in-house systems.

- PRO Easy-to-use interface for adding users. (Just by adding to a text file list and then running a script - it creates their account and emails them their username/password). See: Webarch Secure Hosting

- PRO: It totally separates user accounts. Each user has SFTP and phpMyAdmin access (but not SSH - by default you, as administrator, have this)

- CON: It doesn't have a GUI (graphical user interface) - you manage it using SSH

- CON: It doesn't include email accounts (although we offer these separately, at low cost)

3. Ageir / Octopus

- PRO: For managing multiple Drupal sites, this offers a dedicated interface; see: http://omega8.cc

- PRO: It has a GUI

- CON: It doesn't include email accounts (although we offer these separately, at low cost)

We can help setup any of the above.
