We have two main email servers, the Webarchitects one and the Ecohost Co-op ISPConfig server, the client settigs for both servers follow.

Login to Roundcube Webmail, Horde Webmail the interface to change your password or the email account manager.

Webarchitects Email Settings

To configure your email client please use the following settings:

IMAP — incoming email

  • Server: mail.webarch.net
  • Port: 993
  • Security: SSL
  • Authentication: username and plain text unencrypted password (there is SSL encryption at the transport level)

POP3 SSL — incoming email

  • Server: mail.webarch.net
  • Port: 995
  • Security: SSL
  • Authentication: username and plain text unencrypted password (there is SSL encryption at the transport level)

SMTP — authenticated outgoing email

  • Server: mail.webarch.net
  • Port: 587 or 465
  • Security: TLS
  • Authentication: username and plain text unencrypted password (there is TLS encryption at the transport level)

Most email clients will try to guess all the settings for your email, however they usually get a few details wrong, if you have having problems please double check your username, server, port, security and authentication settings.

Make sure you don’t have “Use secure authentication” ticked — the security is provided at the transport level — your password is sent unencrypted over an encrypted connection.
